When you wish to watch TV or listen to the radio, you will hear the same Spanish media. They have the same channels.

Now, on to gastronomy. Going on Tenerife holidays may require│demand you to eat a lot of fish because it is a large part of their local menu. Restaurants offer fish you can choose from and they are often hand-caught. All fish menus go with black potatoes called "papas arrugadas" which you can readily dip into a local tasty sauce. Just like in Spain, "tapas" are also often served here, as well as tortilla and paella. If you are not up to try native dishes, don't worry, you can always find fastfood restaurants especially when you are visiting the south. How would burgers and pizza sound while enjoying the view of the beach?
